1. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging Build Syntax for any service — including via contract, signed proposal, or accepted quote — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not commission work.
2. Services
Build Syntax provides:
- Custom web development (websites and web applications)
- ShopNex — e-commerce platforms
- Tymelo — appointment booking systems
- POS Pro — point-of-sale systems
- Hosting & maintenance plans
3. Payment Terms
- 50% deposit due before development begins.
- 30% on project delivery.
- 20% after training / handover.
- Hosting plans are billed annually; maintenance plans are billed monthly with a 3-month minimum.
- All prices are quoted and payable in USD. LBP equivalents accepted at the current market rate on the day of payment.
4. Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of full payment, the client owns all rights to delivered code, designs, and digital assets specific to their project. Build Syntax retains rights to its internal libraries, frameworks, and reusable components used in the engagement, as well as the right to display the completed work in our portfolio — with the client’s permission for any client-specific branding or screenshots.
5. Warranties & Limitations
We warrant that delivered work will be free from critical defects (build- breaking bugs, security regressions in delivered code) for the duration of the support period included in your selected plan. New features, content changes, and design revisions outside the original agreed scope are quoted separately. We provide no warranty against issues caused by third-party services, hosting outages outside our infrastructure, or modifications made by parties other than Build Syntax after delivery.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon. Any dispute arising from a Build Syntax engagement is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Beirut.
